Description - Impact Mats are a smaller version of our Impact rolls. Durable and shock absorbent, these exercise mats are ideal for plyometric workouts and other high impact exercises. Less dense than our standard rubber mats, these mats will help to prevent leg fatigue and/or injury. Because these mats are less dense, these are not recommended for use in areas with heavy weights or heavy exercise equipment. Available at an economical price and featuring two finished sides, these mats are backed by a 5 year warranty.
Note: During certain types of running and high intensity workouts, our Impact mats may start to break down and flake over time, creating a flooring surface that is not ideal. For these types of exercises, we recommend the use of our standard rubber rolls which are more durable and better suited for these types of exercises.
Material – Reground rubber that is made from the post industrial recycled rubber created during the production of our standard rubber products and recycled white wall car tires.
Size – 4 feet wide x 6 feet long.
Thickness – 3/8"
Weight – 2.03 lbs. per square foot.
Origin – Made in the USA
Recommended Uses – Impact rubber matting offers a great solution for use during plyometric training and high impact workouts. These plyometric mats are ideal for use in home gyms, as exercise flooring, and in places where jumping and other high impact exercises like P90X or Insanity are done. Rubber underlayment can stain some vinyl flooring and linoleum over time. When using with dance floor rolls we recommend choosing black dance rolls.

Plyometric training flooring is easy to clean. Maintenance of this rolled rubber flooring typically includes:
- Vacuuming any loose dust, dirt, or debris from the rubber flooring surface when necessary.
- Occasional damp mopping of the plyometric matting with a mild soap and water mixture. Some soaps commonly used include Dawn dish detergent and/or Tide laundry detergent.
- This rolled rubber flooring solution is slightly porous in order to aid in the shock absorption of the rubber and this can cause the Impact flooring to take slightly more time to clean as compared to our regular rolled rubber gym flooring.
Note: Do not use any solvent or oil style cleaners such as Pinesol, Lysol, Murphy’s Oil Soap, WD40, paint thinner, etc. since these types of cleaners will break down the flooring over time.
