Installation Instructions for Grid-Loc Diamond Series Tiles:

Step 1: Prepare the Subfloor

  • Make sure the garage floor is clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt, or debris.
  • Sweep or vacuum the surface before installation.

Step 2: Plan the Layout

  • Measure the area and decide on the tile layout. Start from a corner or the center of the room.
  • Leave a 1/2" gap between the tiles and walls or stationary objects to allow for expansion.

Step 3: Snap the Tiles Together

  • Align the edges of each tile and snap them together using the hidden interlock system.
  • Continue connecting tiles until the floor area is fully covered.
  • If necessary, trim the tiles using a utility knife to fit around obstacles like walls or corners.

Step 4: Final Adjustments

  • After covering the entire area, you can add edge pieces for a cleaner look.
  • Ensure each tile is securely locked into place.

Step 5: Avoid Car Jack Damage

  • These tiles are not car jack approved. Always use your jack directly on the concrete floor to avoid damage to the tiles.

Care and Maintenance for Grid-Loc Diamond Series Tiles:

Regular Cleaning:

  • Sweep or vacuum the tiles regularly to remove loose crumbs, dust, or debris.
  • Occasionally damp mop the tiles using a mild soap and water mixture. Some commonly used soaps include Dawn dish detergent or Tide laundry detergent.

Spill Management:

  • The tiles are resistant to oil, grease, antifreeze, and many household chemicals, but spills should still be wiped up promptly for safety.

Handling Stains:

  • While the tiles are stain-resistant, clean up spills as soon as possible to prevent any long-term damage or staining.

Tile Replacement:

  • If a tile becomes damaged, snap out the affected tile and replace it with a new one.
