Description - our Dance Floor Tape is the perfect solution for hiding those seams in your dance studio. Whether in a home for practice or a professional studio, many people use Dance Floor Tape not only to cover seams but also to adjoin two rolls for a seamless feel. By using double-sided tape around the perimeter of your floor and the properly colored Vinyl Tape on top of each seam will lock your floor in place for several years – and as a bonus, you will be able to lift the floor up should you ever need to move your floor to another studio or performance space!
Material – Vinyl tape coated one side with adhesive
Color – Available in black, White, grey, and clear
Size – 2” wide x 108' long per roll.
Weight – Approximately 2 Lbs. per roll.
Recommended Uses – Dance floor tape is recommended for use in temporary dance flooring installations. Perfect for any DIY skill level, this tape is recommended for covering expansion gap and keeping 2 floors together. Can also be used to tape down the perimeter of your dance flooring.

Dance floor tape is easy to use. To ensure good grip with the adhesive on the tape, it is recommended to clean your floor and make sure it is dry before applying the tape.

Will this leave a residue on wood floors? I don't need a subfloor but I also don't want to ruin my wood floor if I tape the marley on it directly. Thanks!
Emily Soltis
The tape should not leave a residue but in the low chance that it does, you could use a tennis ball to help pull any residue up from the floor.
Can this tape be used to secure the 3/8" interlocking mats to a subfloor?
Mary S
Yes you can use for that purpose.

Great floor install myself to rows 24' long lays flat has a robbery smell for 1st 2 weeks Came from a slippery floor so this is good for not being slippery yet not too grippy yet Need to be broken in taking about a week so it's not to grippy. 4 stars because tape had sticky residue from the tape as a came off the roll and the sticky residue on the top collects dirt and Dust not good sticky... Call and sending replacement tape still waiting 3 weeks to receive it
