Our 3 mm cork underlayment is a very easy and inexpensive way to upgrade the underlayment under your new and existing floor. Cork underlayment offers a higher level of sound reduction versus most standard foam underlayments and is also a great way to match the level of existing floors in other rooms. Cork also is mold and mildew resistant and will expand and contract with your floor. Our 3 mm cork underlayment is the perfect underlayment to use under floating floors. Material - This flooring is made from cork, which is harvested bark off of the cork tree. The bark of the tree grows back for over 200 years and can be stripped every 9 years, making this product a truly renewable product. Width - 4' wide rolls. Length - Available in 50' lengths. Thickness - 3 mm (118"). Weight - 0.23 lb/sq-ft.

When installing your NuHeat NVent heated mats, you would install them over our 3mm Eco-Cork Underlayment. You would want to follow the instructions for installing the underlayment and installing your heated floor system.
