Cushion-Ease mats are easy to clean. Maintenance of these mats for your kitchen typically includes:
  • Scrubbing thoroughly with a brush and mild detergent and water solution.
Note: Do not use any butyl based solvents / degreasers or oil style cleaners such as Pinesol, Lysol, Murphy’s Oil Soap, WD40, paint thinner, etc. since these types of cleaners will break down the mats over time.

Hi, I want to add an edge to my cushion ease mats, 3' by 5', how to I do that and which one should I get? Thank you.
Stephane LeGarrec
You can add edging to our Cushion-Ease mats, and the edging is located on the product page. You would choose how much edging you would need and the edging for your mat.
What temperature range will these mats tolerate? We get down to -10 degrees. Will ice and snow damage them?
Thomas Kiley
Since our Cushion-Ease mats are made from rubber, they can handle both extreme hot and cold. Just like the tires on your car, they will just either get hot or cold with the outside temperature. These mats will not be affected by ice, snow, or any other weather element.

We bought these mats to put on the floor of our 4-H food stand during the county fair. We cook 800 pounds of hamburgers in 4 days. That makes for a lot a grease and a lot of spills emptying the grill of grease. When we spilled we just soaked up the grease with some paper towels. We pulled up the mat only where the spill was, wiped up the worst and put the mat back down until the end of the day. At night we pulled up that spot again and ran a mop over. When the fair was over we picked up all the mats, swept and mopped only once. We used to mop the whole kitchen 2 or 3 times every night because it got so slippery. This made it a lot easier. AND I am there for at least 14 hours a day. Before we got the mats my legs would hurt so bad I couldn't fall asleep. This year my legs were still tired from such long days but I didn't hurt.
