Description - USFloors COREtec Plus T-Molding is the perfect versatile solution for finishing your new floor and combining adjoining floors with a seamless appearance. At 72" long and available in several color options, these DIY install moldings make it easy for you to finish your floor in no time.

  • Trims and moldings are easy to clean with a damp cloth.
  • For dirtier messes and a deeper cleaning, use a mild soap with a damp sponge to focus on the area.
Installation of moldings is very simple and typically done by the consumer. Typical installation of these moldings is as follows:
  • Measure & trim your molding to fit the space where it will be installed.
  • Secure the track piece to the floor using pressure sensitive adhesive, screws, or nails.
  • Insert molding into track. Tap down lightly with rubber mallet to secure.

Is the plastic strip that the t mold snaps into glued or nailed to the subfloor, or is it left floating

Secure the track piece to the floor using pressure sensitive adhesive, screws, or nails.
do you mount the plastic strip to the subfloor or top of the coretec vinyl planking when transiting onto tile.

The T-molding is designed to lay over top of the Coretec and the tile at the same time. The strip should be mounted to the subfloor.
How much space do I leave for the track since I still have to order it?ty

You can leave up to 3/4 of a inch to install the track for the t-molding.
I was told that I needed to put a transition strip every 35 feet, but with rigid vinyl plank I should put a transition 80 feet. I've read the installation instructions but all it says is to put transition strips where there are exposed edges. What do you suggest?
