Installation Instructions for Grid-Loc Vented Series Tiles:

Step 1: Prepare the Subfloor

• Ensure the garage floor is clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt, and debris.
• Sweep or vacuum the surface to remove any loose particles.
  
  

Step 2: Plan the Layout

• Measure the area to be covered and decide on the tile layout, starting from a corner or the center.
• Leave a 1/2" gap between the tiles and walls or fixed objects to allow for natural expansion.
  
  

Step 3: Snap the Tiles Together

• Align the edges of each tile and snap them together using the hidden interlocking system.
• Continue connecting the tiles until the entire floor is covered.
• If necessary, trim the tiles using a utility knife to fit around corners, walls, or obstacles.
  
  

Step 4: Final Adjustments

• Once the installation is complete, add edge pieces for a polished, professional look.
• Ensure all tiles are securely snapped into place.
  
  

Step 5: Avoid Car Jack Damage

• These tiles are not car jack approved. To prevent damage, always place your car jack directly on the concrete floor or use a plywood board or steel plate underneath the jack.

Care and Maintenance for Grid-Loc Vented Series Tiles:

Regular Cleaning:

• Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove dust, dirt, and debris from the tiles.
• The vented design allows for easy drainage, so you can hose down the tiles for a deeper clean.
• For tougher dirt or grime, damp mop the tiles using a mild soap and water mixture, such as Dawn dish detergent or Tide laundry detergent.
  
  

Spill Management:

• The vented tiles resist oil, grease, antifreeze, and other household chemicals, but it's still best to clean up spills promptly to maintain cleanliness and avoid any buildup.
  
  

Handling Stains:

• While these tiles are stain-resistant, promptly wiping up any spills will help preserve the appearance of your floor.
  
  

Tile Replacement:

• In case of any damage to a tile, snap out the affected tile and replace it with a new one.
