I used the tiles to create an area where my girls could practice dance. The tiles were easy to install and are a good quality. Fortunately the only cutting I had to do were the plastic connectors. I had read before I purchased in the instructions that the tiles could be cut using a utility knife I am not so sure that would have worked that well. I did install the tiles over carpet but put down 1/2 plywood pieces which worked great if you do not want to remove carpet to install. Installing on the carpet would not have worked a hard service is needed. My kids love this new space I am definitely happy with the purchase.
