My husband and I purchased this flooring because it had the wear resistant layer on top and because we wanted a cork floor in our bedroom for awhile since we heard it was softer and warmer than wood. We ended up ordering samples from rubber flooring inc and a few other online companies to compare the surface and these tiles definitely seemed more durable due to the wear layer on top. The flooring is also much more comfortable to walk on barefoot than any wood flooring product so we are very pleased with it and it looks amazing.
