I received the mats in good order. I then placed them in a spare bedroom that we made into a gym. The odor that these mats emit was overwhelming. I had hoped the odor would dissipate over time and much to my disappointment the odor does not go away. Consequently the mats have been removed from the room and are now stored in my garage.

I wanted flooring to cover the aerobic area in my home gym. These two combined, giving me an 8 X 12 working area fit perfectly. Yes there is a smell, yes it'll take a while to completely go away but, it is RUBBER right? Now we can run and jump and bounce all we want without undo jarring to our limbs. And, the golden flecks go perfectly with my carpet in there. Totally satisfied.

Using a recommendation from your company, I connected four of the 4x6 Premium Mats to have a 8x12 area. My location is in an enclosed garage with a concrete floor. Not having to work out on bare concrete has helped ease the stress on my knees. After my exercise session, the car is brought in with no impact to the mat.

It has this residue on the undersurface that will quickly stain your carpet permanently if you make the mistake of opening it over carpet. I had to take the mat outside and thoroughly clean it several times with a power wash to eliminate most of it and greatly reduce the rubber tire smell.

I ordered these mats for my son’s bedroom. He has horrible dust mite allergies and we cannot have carpet in his room. We installed it ourselves in a day and now Dean’s room is the envy of all his friends.

First the good... Simple install, feels great under the feet, extremely attractive and cleans very easily. Now the bad... the odor is so pungent that it is not unlike being in a room with a smoker. In other words, these will have you and your clothing reeking of rubber to the extent that you will have to take a shower EVEN IF YOU DID NOTHING BUT SPEND 5 MINUTES IN THE ROOM WITH THESE MATS. Having said that, I did just receive them and perhaps the smell will die down over time. I really hope so because I cannot imagine having to deal with this stench, which cannot possibly be healthy, over the winter when the windows need to be kept down because of the cold weather. If I had known about this prior to ordering, I absolutely would have gone with something else.

I just installed a new tile floor and dartboard. I didn't want ″missed″ darts to damage the floor, so I needed a rubber mat. Prior to ordering I ″chatted″ with customer service and they steered me towards this mat. I couldn't be happier! The Earth tone matches the decor, and the mat is impenetrable by the darts. It really didn't have any odor, but just to be safe, I opened it up and put it outside for a day. The size was to spec and the delivery time was as promised. Be sure to have someone help you install it. It's really heavy (which is GOOD!)and awkward to handle when trying to carry it alone. Try it - you'll like it!

Outstanding Mats. I ordered 4 for our new home gym, although the gym is carpeted we used the mats under equipment and it really looks good. The mats are heavy and so durable. Yes, they do have a strong rubber smell, but now about a month later most of the smell is gone. I highly recommend these mats.

I used these premium mats in the places that I would be setting weights down on the ground and soft rubber in the walkways and other areas for sit ups ect ... the products worked well together and I am happy with the project.

The 4x6 mats were absolutely perfect. They came quickly and stayed flat after just a day or so . Placed some dumbbells on the corners to hasten the process . I saw some complaints about the smell but my wife and I didn’t find it to be overwhelming at all. Overall I am very pleased with the product and delivery.

This is by far the best rubber mat for any gym flooring, either to place under equipment or to workout on with equipment like dumbells. It protects both the floor and your equipment from damage. At 3/8” thick it’s plenty thick enough for protection and heavy enough that it won’t slide around. The perfect workout matting!

have ordered rubber mats before but these were well prepared, easy to manouvre and look great (blue fleck).

I purchased two of the 4x6 mats to cover my hard wood flooring from a pull up rack. I took it out of the cardboard box to let the mild rubber smell air out in the garage for one day before installation. It’s perfect.

The rubber is comfortable, but you can’t be sweaty otherwise it gets slippery. Wish I purchased something with more traction.

I really like these mats. I purchased two of them since I don't have a whole lot of space. They lie flat, butt up to each other perfectly. Easy to clean.

I RATE YOUR PREMIUM 4’ x 6’ MAT 5 STARS! I am using the 4’ by 6’ Premium Mat in the well deck of my 22’ sport fishing boat! The mat fits great and provides optimum cover for the area! I was worried it might get slick when wet and that is not the case…it doesn’t get slick at all! I fish and pull crab/shrimp pots regularly from my boat and this mat is super. It is great to work on, anti-fatigue and non slip, all while protecting the bottom of the boat! Clean up is a snap with a fresh water rinse and small amount of dish soap. I purchased 4: 4x6 mats for my home gym. They have worked out perfect. High quality rubber, perfect thickness to withstand heavy weights being dropped on them.
