Modular Dance Floor Kits Reviews

Attached are two photos of the 7x7 dance floor kit that I set up in our basement remodel for my daughter. She loves it! She loves having her own dance space to practice all kinds of dances but especially loves having somewhere to tap at home. The product is great. Very well made and super easy to put together. We could not be happier with it.

I built this dance room for my 10 year old daughter. She is obsessed with dancing and takes classes 6 times a week. Her goal is to get into the competition team next years and some day go to Juilliard. Very goal oriented. Because of her passion, I wanted to support her goals and built this dance room for her in our basement. The flooring product is great! It shipped quickly. Arrived well packaged. And I had the whole thing assembled in about 1 hour. The area is about 100 sq ft. She loves dancing on it. And because she is still young, it is great cushion for her growing joints. She can practice her ballet, pre-point, lyrical, jazz, tap, and hip-hop. And frequently we have several girls all practicing together. Thank you for a great product. I like the floor. I got it to put over a carpet so I could do yoga on it, and it' sporting to work really well. Here are two photos of the floor, which is part of my in home yoga and meditation room. The first one is when i put the floor in. The second is a month later after painting and finishing the room. The floor is perfect.

My daughter loves the floor! She's using it for practicing tap, hip hop, lyrical and ballet. We hope to one day expand it even further. Happy to have her not tapping on the kitchen floor anymore. Lol

We are using the floor as a home practice space in my daughter’s room for Irish dancing. I’m happy with the product. It was easy to put together and fits nicely in the corner against the walls. My daughter has been been dancing on it for months wearing Irish dance hard shoes which have fiberglass heels, and the floor still looks great.

Once I came across rubber flooring inc., it all got easier. Being able to order samples of different colors and textures was extremely helpful. I was undecided between three color's. Having the physical samples made the selection process easier. I decided on the 8×8 floor kit to fit my space. Installation was a 'snap' lol pun intended. I'm totally in love with this floor and it's already been of great use.

Attached is a pic of the flooring we purchased from you in my daughters new dance room. The flooring we purchased from flooring Inc. was used to create a dance/ballet room floor for my 11 year old daughter Ellie who is a dance and ballet fanatic. It arrived packaged well, all the parts were included, and it assembled easily – it took about 30 minutes. We set it up on top of a carpeted basement floor and it is very solid. This was a Christmas present for her so we set the floor up the evening of Christmas eve. Christmas morning we sent our daughter down to her new dance room and she was ecstatic! She loves her new dance room and practices there every day. We highly recommend this flooring for anyone who needs an instant quality dance floor. Thank you, Nick

I used it for my Birthday party at patio. i ordered 9*, it says its for 9 couples but its actually so much smaller than expected. you cannot possibly have 9 couples dance together. The installation took so much longer than expected. I wish it was labled by number (ie L1-1, L 2-1. The box came with a wrong piece so that the last piece cannot fit in (male/female problem). We lay it there without locking it in. Besides this quality was good.

I absolutely love my new dance floor!

Like many people, we've purchased a lot of items to make shelter in place easier during COVID. This dance floor has been a huge help for my daughters (9 and 6 years old). They take dance daily so we put this up in our basement. Definitely worth the purchase. Here are some pros/cons just so you are aware. I highly recommend purchasing this though. ......PROS...... 1) Quick shipping 2) Multiple size options to fit any space 3) Different color options to fit your taste (we chose teak) 4) Durable / well made .....CONS...... 1) Installation - while incredibly simple once you get it - it takes you a little while to figure out on your own. We had to play around a bit and put a few pieces together wrong before it finally dawned on us how to put it together. It's like a puzzle with no instructions so try to have fun with it. 2) A little slippery: this is great for practicing turns, but makes certain tricks (like a back walk over in jazz shoes) harder to do. So far no issues practicing tap. 3) Small blocks versus one smooth floor: Since this is an easy to ship and install item, it means you have many small pieces of floor you are putting together - thus, you have many lines/breaks. My daughters say it doesn't bother them at all, but just know that they are indeed noticeable. ......TIPS...... - Size: We chose the 6' x 6' area for affordability. Personally, I wouldn't want it any smaller since her dances move around and use space. If you are getting this only to practice turns or certain poses, then you could definitely get it smaller. But we might even add to this so she can use more of the floor as she practices. She can comfortably do the splits across it and can practice leaps. - Works better on a hard surface. We have ours on carpet which also had a rug. Removing the rug helped but you can still tell there is a soft surface under it. -Consider putting the floor together right side up. We did it in a way that seemed easier at the time, but then we had to figure out how to flip the floor over without it all breaking. -Lay it all out and make sure you have all the pieces before snapping together. That will avoid you realizing you put something together wrong at the end. -Yes, you can move this thing, but it is not something I would want to do on a daily basis. It's heavy and awkward, plus you would not want to actually be taking this apart often.

We are using our parquet dance floor for our wedding reception! The dance floor is the perfect size and quality of material needed for our event. We are very pleased with our purchase! Please see the picture, below.

I ordered the 4x4 floor and I'm really enjoying it. It's definitely cumbersome, so this is not a floor I would carry around with me, but it fits nicely under the rug in our music room so when I'm ready to tap at home, I just roll the rug back and enjoy. Sounds are great!

We got this dance floor for Christmas for our 12 year old daughter. She LOVES it! She is a company dancer and it is perfect to practice. She uses it for tap, ballet and for stretching. It’s the perfect mini-studio for her to practice! You can always add on to it too. Thank you!!

My daughter taps in her bedroom, and loves it!

I love my tap floor! Its the perfect size for my bedroom, it doesn't take up to much space but it's still a good size to dance on. Putting it together is a little difficult, but I know it's not going to come apart while I'm dancing so that's certainly nothing to complain about. Now I can practice all the time and not ruin my floor! - Rosie

We have loved our flooring and used it as part of a very cute DIY ″Dance Studio″ that we constructed in our playroom for our daughter's birthday. She loves ballet and tap dance and the flooring was really the most special touch in her mini dance studio.

Hello! I bought this for my wife for her Indian classical dance classes. Setting the 8x8 setup was easy and fun! The set is durable and the feedback you get from it while dancing is just perfect.
