We have this in our living room. It doesn't slide together like most vinyl planks. It's very flexible. So, you line all the edges up and then use a rubber mallet to smack it together. It feels good on the feet, some give. I noticed the couch foot made a small indentation in it as I was moving furniture around--it seemed to come out, but over time, it might be more permanent. Easy to cut, easy to clean, waterproof, easy to assemble, once you stop trying to slide it together.
