What is the range of flooring height differences the reducer can accommodate?

This molding will accommodate a difference of close to 5/16” between the two products in varying thickness.
What is the space needed for tile- LVP TRANSITION strip. Is it 3/4 inch?

Hi, for the reducer, do I stick the track underneath the flooring or do I cut the track to fit like a u-channel?
