Don't see what you're looking for?
Hi - would this work for pointe?
Mia
Yes!
I'm looking for a temporary dance floor to practice on in my apartment--I have carpeting. Will these Dance Trax tiles sit okay on carpet? If not, do I need to get a subfloor mat to go underneath? Thanks!
Lauren
If the carpet is high pile, the interlocking parts may have a tough time staying together. The flatter the subfloor surface, the better.
I have a concrete floor and need a dance surface I can move. Could I couple these with high density foam to make a removable floor that absorbs some shock?
Emily
Yes that would be a great combination
I have a concrete basement. Can I use this floor with a subfloor only for tap or do I need to overlay it with marley also? And what subfloor would you recommend for this type of floor?
Lida
You can use these tiles for tap directly over your concrete floor. You can also use our foam subfloor tiles for a little cushion between the concrete and tiles. You may use marley over top the tiles if you wish but it is not necessary.
I would like an easy-to-assemble/disassemble floor to practice Irish step dancing and it would sit on carpet (I think it is what you would call cut pile). Will these work on that without shifting or coming apart? Thank you.

Would these tiles work well on top of your Regrind rolls? I want to make a garage gym with an area for dancing and yoga
John Ma
Yes, that would be a suitable installation.
Can I install this in a garage and use it to dance as well as park a car?
Pk
Yes as long as you pull straight in and out - do not turn your tires on the tiles as that may cause the vinyl top surface to lift off of the tiles.
