What is ECO about these mats? are they low VOC emitting?

Our 1/2" Eco Rubber Gym Tiles are very eco-friendly as they are made from the scraps from our standard rubber flooring. These tiles will have a rubber smell, but this rubber smell will dissipate over time. If you are sensitive or want the smell to dissipate quickly, we recommend mopping the floor with a mild soap and water solution and letting the floor air dry. You will also make sure the room where the flooring will be installed is well ventilated.
Can these be used outdoors?

Our 1/2" Plyo Tiles can be used outdoors. Rubber flooring is very weather resistant and very slip-resistant, even more so when wet. These rubber tiles are mold and mildew resistant and are very easy to clean and maintain. The only thing you will notice is that in direct sunlight, over time, these interlocking rubber tiles will fade. Outside that, these rubber floor tiles are perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.

Our 1/2" Plyo Tiles are very slip-resistant, as is all rubber flooring. They are actually more slip-resistant when wet.
