The Mohawk Versatech Ultra Vinyl Sheet comes with a foam backing which provides comfort, support, and durability when walked on. The foam backing also reduces impact noises and sound transmission.
Can the Mohawk Versatech Ultra or Plus be laid on top of your roll rubber underlay? We are trying to construct a somewhat padded kitchen floor as a disability accommodation.

This product already has a foam backing which provides some cushion. You could also supplement that with a rubber, cork, or foam underlayment to achieve the desired padded effect.
Is this vinyl completely smooth with no ridges or indentations within the pattern? We like the wood look but want the vinyl to be all even & smooth. Thank you
