Does the glue affect an installation over wood floors upon removal?

These tiles are safe to install over wood floors. The adhesive should leave minimal to no residue, which can be removed by rolling between the fingertips.
Can I use this in a office that has carpet that I want to put it over so the office chairs roll smoothly.
For best results, these tiles should be installed over a smooth, flat surface. We do not recommend installing these tiles over existing carpet.
