Do these wood HD rolls come in any other thickness? Or just the 7mm?
Dom
Our Impact Rolls - Wood Series HD currently only come in the 7mm thickness.
Hello, I am curious about outdoor options: 1: For a playground equipment area and 2. For yoga and movement on deck space I was curious If the Forest RX could be used outside.
Shannon
The Forest RX rolls can be used outdoors. Depending on the type of playground equipment that will be present, we would suggest using other types of flooring to protect children better while at play. We offer a wide range of playground tiles and other flooring options on our playground flooring page. These rolls would be great for yoga and other exercises and can be used on a deck space.
Interested in flooring for home gym...duties to include spinning, rowing, boot camp classes, HIT classes, and light to medium weights. Would this be your recommendation for this type of room?
Greg Besler
You can place equipment and perform high impact workouts on our Impact Rolls - Wood Series HD. These rolls feature a very shock absorbent backing and a very easy to clean and sanitize top. Since these rolls do feature a vinyl top, there is potential for some indentation to occur due to the weight of the equipment. To prevent this, we do recommend placing furniture sliders under the feet of the fitness equipment.
Can the Home Forest Rx flooring be used in a home gym, with multiple cardio (rower, commercial elliptical, & bike) as well as weight training pieces (rack of DB's, smith cage system, etc.)?
brandon
Ecore at Home Forest Rx rubber rolls can be used as home gym flooring. These rubber rolls are durable enough to have gym equipment on them without damaging the flooring.
Would this work for a dog daycare playroom floor and kennels? Looking for something non-porous, slip-resistant, and scratch-proof that is good on feet/joints.
Shanna
Ecore at Home Forest Rx can be used as flooring in a doggy daycare, playroom, or kennel. These rubber rolls are non-porous and are slip-resistant. They do feature a wearlayer, but this flooring can still be scratched by dog's nails. We would recommend trying to keep dog's nails as trimmed as possible to minimize any scratches. If you are looking for something non-porous and would be more scratch-resistant, we would recommend using our 1/2" Dog Kennel Mats.
Can this be used on stairs in replacement of carpeting with a foam pad? Or would it be too slick? Also, is there a recommendation for the bullnose if it is used on stairs?
Kimberly
You technically could cut Ecore at Home's Forest RX rolls to be used on stairs. They wouldn't have any more slip than a vinyl, wood, or tile staircase. We don't have any stair nosing for this product, but you could find similar-looking stair noses on our trims and moldings page.
Can this be used for a family kitchen? Can this go over ceramic tile? Do I need a subfloor?
Laurie Scoblionko Katz
You can use Ecore at Home's Forest Rx in a family kitchen. These rubber rolls can be installed over ceramic tile. The ceramic tile would be your subfloor.
Hello. I'm wondering if this flooring can be installed in my shower.
Katie
We would not recommend installing Ecore at Home's Forest Rx in a shower. The vinyl top would become too slippery and would become a slip hazard.
