If the carpet squares used with double sided adhesive tape were ever to be removed, does the taped areasnmess up the pre existing floor. Looking for something for a Children's Sunday School Room that already has vinyl tile flooring. The existing floors are a bit slippery for the light weight chairs.

The tape should not 'mess up the floor' but there will likely be adhesive residue left on the floor which can be cleaned up.
