How far do the locking tabs stick out from the inner part of the tile? What length would I lose cutting off just the locking tabs on one side to make a border cut?

The tabs on our 3/8" PowerPlay Rubber Tiles are about 1.2" in length. The tiles from tab to tab measure 25.2" x 25.2" and from recess to recess are 22.8" x 22.8". When interlocked the tiles will be approximately 24" x 24".
