my garage floor is 70 yrs old and is uneven withbsmall ridges and divets. Does that effect your product much? The sample you send out how big is it so i coukd lay it in some of the worst area and see how it lays?

The sample size is small, not large enough to review over uneven subfloor. We'd recommend purchasing a full tile for a better indication of how the tile would lay on your floor. We would always recommend leveling out the concrete for best results.
