Hello, I'd like to know the following; How easy is it to replace a "tile"? If someone spills wine, etc. on the surface, will it stain? How easily will it scratch? How easily will it burn (cig butts)? What's the life expectancy of this product?
Damaging our Interlocking Deck Top Roof Tiles is pretty difficult, but if one tile were to become damaged, replacing one is pretty simple. We recommend using our seam sealer glue at the interlock of the tiles to prevent the tiles from buckling and also to prevent theft. To replace the tile, all you would need to do is cut the glue keeping the tiles together if glued and then remove the damaged tile. Once removed, you can replace the tile with a new one and can reapply glue if needed or desired. If you were to drop a hot cigarette butt on the flooring, the tiles will not go up in smoke. Since rubber melts at about 356 degrees Fahrenheit, a cigarette butt won't do much to the tiles. These tiles are very durable and won't be scratched easily. It's even pretty tough to cut these tiles with a sharp knife, so there would be no concern with that there. These rubber tiles have a lifetime warranty, so honestly, they will last for as long as you own them. To truly see and feel the durability of these tiles we recommend ordering a sample of the tiles.
