Can the tiles be installed over sand? (Tiles are being installed where pavers were previously). Also, should you use adhesive in between tiles? Or will the locking pieces keep tiles from shifting?

We have had some customers successfully install these tiles over compact sand, however, we recommend installing these tiles over hard surfaces like asphalt or concrete. Using adhesive between the tiles is not necessary when using Quadblok Connectors.
