Can these carpet squares be installed directly over a low-pile carpet? The carpet is about 1/8" in thickness.

We recommend removing existing carpets before installing new carpet tiles. It can be possible to install carpet tiles over very low-pile existing carpet, but ideally carpet tiles should be installed on a smooth, clean, flat surface to ensure proper adhesion and no gaps between tiles.
