Will these floors absorb any fluid? I was thinking about using these in a dog room. Will they absorb urine, or will it stay on top?

Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls and any of our rubber flooring will not absorb any liquid. Liquids that fall on the surface will stay primarily on the surface until the liquid drys out. The main issue that you will run into is that there are little pores in the floor that will be able to harbor some liquid, and as the liquid drys, the salts from that liquid are left behind. With urine, this can help encourage bacterial growth, which will cause a real smelly situation. We recommend sealing our rubber flooring with our Rubber Floor Finish and Sealer to prevent this. This will fill in the small pores in the floor. We also recommend using our Seam Sealer glue along the seams to prevent liquids from getting between and under the rolls.
