I'm going to be covering 6' x 6' of my hardwood floor. Will it slip a lot on a hardwood floor? If so, what can I do to prevent slippage? Are these tiles good for floor workouts (situps, pushups), or are they more for standing? Do they offer any give when lying on them? Could I also use my rolling desk chair on this surface? Will it ruin it?
Our 3/8" Sport-Lock Rubber Tiles can be installed over hardwood flooring without slipping. If for some reason, the floor were to move, you can place some double-sided tape under the tiles. These rubber tiles are great for floor exercises and can be used for high impact workouts as well. These rubber tiles will provide some cushion when laying on them, but the amount of cushion is not like lying on a yoga mat or foam tile. You can place a rolling chair over the tiles. Rolling chairs will not destroy the tiles.
