Do these tiles need to be glued down, or are they free-floating?

Our 3/8" Sport-Lock Rubber Tiles are not meant to be glued down but are meant to be installed as an interlocking floating floor. These tiles are very easy to install and can be cut to fit any area with a sharp utility knife and a straight edge.
