I know I can't lay linoleum on top of the underlayment rubber, but can I lay linoleum on top of the rubber flooring. I want to soften any fall for my 96-year-old father in his bedroom.

We wouldn't recommend placing our 1/2" Mega Rubber Rolls or any rubber product under linoleum. If you are looking for a product that would give you a pleasant-looking floor that is also impact resistant, we would recommend installing or Impact Rolls - Wood Series or the Ecore at Home Rx series rolls. These products feature a vinyl top over a rubber underlay. They are very easy to clean and maintain and are just as easy to install.
