I'm in a 2nd-floor apartment, and I want to reduce the thumping that running on my treadmill causes for my downstairs neighbors. I'm confused which is better for reduction, these floor tiles or the Rebound Rubber Tiles. The Rebound Rubber Tiles say they reduce noise by 40dB. Would these shock mats be good enough?

Our Shock Mats have an IIC rating of 56, so they would certainly help reduce the amount of noise heard by the floor below.�
