When cutting your Diamond Nitro Roll to fit my garage floor, do I need to leave any space between the product and the walls for expansion? A number of other products I've researched require this due to the heat of the day(especially here in Florida) making their mats expand. Also, do you recommend keeping the entire mat INSIDE the garage, or can it be cut to cover the 6" of the floor that extends outside the garage door, where it will be exposed to direct sunlight, rain, and wind?
