I am planning on installing the � inch rubber rolls in a 12 x 18 home gym. The gym will be in the basement, and the rubber is being installed on concrete. I notice one q&A indicated the rubber performs best over carpet? Should I install carpet first? Carpet padding? Or smoother underlayment? Please advise.
