I would like to order the 24x20 outdoor basketball kit. We would like to put the tiles on top of a gravel and stone dust base. I know how to make the wood frame and lay down the gravel with a tamper. I wanted to check if you had further instructions, if this type of installation as recommended, and if there is a rain porous foam pad to put between the top layer of gravel/stone dust and the tiles?
You can install our Outdoor Basketball Court Kits on top of a level gravel and stone dust base using the same installation instructions that we have provided on the product page, however we do recommend using these over a hard surface like concrete or asphalt. You wouldn't need a foam pad underneath since these tiles are porous and will allow water to pass through them easily.
