Are vulcanized tiles less shock absorbant than non-vulcanized? Are vulcanized tiles good for high impact plyometric training?

Vulcanized tiles like our 1/2" Rubber Gym Tiles are less forgiving than non-vulcanized tiles. Both types of rubber are shock absorbent, but the non-vulcanized tiles would be more cushioned to help lessen the impact placed on your body when doing jump exercises or high impact plyometric exercises. For these types of exercises, we recommend going with one of our Impact Rolls or Mats which can be found on our High Impact list page.
