How does the floor tile handle the snow and ice? How do you recommend clearing the space in the case of snow? In Chicago we use salt to clear ice and snow, is this ok?
Our Outdoor Sports Tiles are made from a hard plastic polypropylene and can withstand the elements without being damaged, so they will be able to withstand the ice and snow. These tiles can be shoveled, snow blowed, etc. As for salt -it certainly won’t hurt the tiles, but it may leave a residue. You may want to pressure wash them off in spring.
