Can these be installed in areas prone to flooding such as in wet basements? Will they develop mold if soaked for a day or more?

Our 1/4" Pre Cut Tough Rubber Rolls are great as flooring in basements. Since these rolls are made from rubber, they are naturally mold and mildew resistant. If your basement were to flood, cleaning your rubber flooring is easy. First, we would recommend not gluing your flooring down as you will need to clean under the rubber flooring after the water has receded. You would then remove the rolls, clean them, and let them air dry. Once dry and the basement has been cleaned, you can then place your flooring back into your basement. No matter how long the water is sitting over the flooring, your rubber flooring will not be destroyed.
