So….for the longest time, I didn’t even know peel and stick vinyl tiles were a thing. I remember seeing it and being like “Hmm that’s different…” and then thinking they were basically just stickers. I thought that you’d have to place them perfectly or they would bubble and wrinkle like a normal sticker, but I couldn’t have been more wrong! It rarely happens, so you might want to write down the date.

I. Was. Wrong.

I finally got my hands on these babies and they feel just like normal vinyl–stable and sturdy. They just have an easy, sticker-like backing making installation a breeze, and giving you a lot of room for creativity! You can use them as temporarily flooring in a rental, or in a permanent low-traffic area like a basement, but they can also do so much more! Check out these 5 fun uses for peel and stick vinyl tiles.

1. Deck out your RV.

Campers, RVs and trailers are a great way to get out on the road and explore new places. Of course, you can pay up front to buy one of these babies fully loaded, but there’s also a great market for buying used. You can save yourself some money by purchasing a used RV and then easily redoing the floors with some peel and stick vinyl tiles. In fact, even on a perfectly nice floor, these are a great option to add some to personalize your space.

2. Spruce up your craft table.

You don’t want to be doing your creative crafting on a junky or boring looking table! Easily take any old table and add some peel and stick vinyl tiles. And you don’t have to do all the same pattern, either! You can mix and match to create fun, unique patterns and make your old dingy table a place that you enjoy going to for your creations.

3. Get creative with your wall decor.

You can easily add accents to any wall–design with a few tiles, do a pattern mixing and matching, or give yourself an entire accent wall. The options are endless and peel and stick vinyl tiles give you an easy way to add a little pizzazz!

4. Create a beautiful backsplash.

Personal note: We’ve been searching for backsplash as we do a little remodel in our kitchen, and that ish is EXPENSIVE! Vinyl is naturally water resistant making it perfect for kitchen usage, and the beautiful, affordable peel and stick vinyl tiles create an easy, no fuss option that you can even change out when you’re ready for a new look.

5. Design your closet.

Closets are fun! It’s where all your favorite shoes live, and that little black dress that makes you feel like a million bucks or, for the guys, your favorite suit that makes you look dapper as all get out. Why not make it a fun place with a little style and decor? Closets don’t get much foot traffic, making these peel and stick vinyl tiles a perfect option for a little decoration on a budget.

    • Thanks for your questions, Sandy!

Considering the heat, moisture, and the possibility of scratches that occur on countertops, I would not recommend them for countertop use.

  1. I use these to line the bottom of a bathroom vanity. They cover up stains and can easily be wiped up. They only cost about a $1 each!!!
