Don't see what you're looking for?
I have a larger type area (approx 600sf) and three large, active dogs. The area is on about a 5% grade. Would I need to add Durafill periodically?
When applied properly, you will not have to refill your turf with more Durafill at all really. The only thing you may have to do periodically brush the turf to get any moved or loosened Durafill put back into place.
Is it possible/recommended to use both products in very HOT climates? Hydrochill and then Durafill on the top as infills? They both sound great would hate to only use one.
Leslie
When using Hydrochill, we recommend using both Hydrochill and another infill. You would mix the two infills 50/50. So the Durafill would be a perfect mix with the Hydrochill.
How many cubic feet are in a 50 pound bag? Are there colors other than green?
Dana Evans
Our Durafill covers approximately 33 square feet. Since this is meant to be embedded in the turf, there is not much height to the infill, so it is a little difficult to use cubic feet to determine coverage. If you go by each back covers 33 sqft which translates to 1.5 - 2 pounds per square foot, you will ensure that you have the proper coverage for your turf. Our Durafill only comes in a green color.
Would 1 bag of 50 lb Durafill be sufficient to cover a 15 ft by 6 ft synthetic putting green?
GLENN
A single bag covers ~33 sq ft (the spread rate per bag is 1.5 pounds per square foot). For that size space, you would need 3 bags.
Is this product rubber or a type of sand?
Mike
It's an eco-friendly synthetic soil.
What top dressing should I use on a Pro Putt Turf Roll? If I use Dura fill on your Pro Putt truf roll surface, what would be the coverage rate? I assume the coverage on the putting 1/2" turf goes a lot further than when applied to a 1 and 1/2" lawn turf roll.
We recommend using our Putting Green Infill with any of our Putting Green Turfs since this infill is specially formulated to be and used in putting green surfaces and each bag of this infill covers approx. 33 sqft.
Will the durafill work in extended very cold temperatures? My dog daycare is in North Dakota and the winters have numerous days below zero. Thanks
Kim Leingang
Yes, Durafill would work in cold tempratures.
What is the difference between 16/30 and 12/20 granule
The difference is the size (measured in millimeters). The smaller the granule the more compact it would get in the turf. The smaller sizing is relevant primarily for putting green rolls making the turf denser hence easier for the ball to roll. If you are using this for landscape/pet turf the size will not make much of a difference.
Can I use it on a soccer field before use black rubber infill?
Alexa
Yes, and it could also be blended together.
Would applying the Durafill on our pet turf block drainage of urine/water down through the turf? Doesn't it clog the drainage holes?
CS
The Durafill will not clog the drainage. The water/urine will be able to flow right through the Durafill into the subfloor. This product will help with odor and bacteria control.

I love that it’s green for starters. It keeps the grass decently cool and my 4 dogs have gone to the bathroom on the artificial turf and with just rinsing immediately after, there is no smell. I was worried about letting them go there since I’ve heard horror stories, but so far so good. I think the infill played a big roll in that as compared to silica sand or rubber etc. Using the actual product was easy. I just walked around with the bag and spread evenly and brushed into the thatch. The shipping was fast and easy. No complaints. Would definitely use this company again.
