Recommended Uses: Rubber rolls are a versatile flooring option used in various settings. They are ideal for home gym floors, offering excellent durability and slip resistance. You can also use them as flooring for your doggy daycare, basement, deck, patio, or even your kid's playroom. Additionally, rubber rolls are perfect for locker rooms and any other space where anti-fatigue and sound-dampening properties are desirable.
Quick Notes:
1. The Confetti and Natural colors are made from post-industrial recycled rubber. Confetti is a mix of multiple colors with random color percentages. Natural is standard rubber products and recycled white wall car tires. As a result, the shade and color may vary in these two options.
2. Due to a recent material change, the shade of lipstick red may vary from previous orders.
When installing rolled rubber flooring, it is recommended to use an adhesive to prevent the rolls from moving or sliding apart. The two most common methods of adhering rubber rolls to the subfloor are:
A: Double-Sided Tape Installation
- Clean the subfloor of all dust, dirt, and debris.
- Loose lay the rolls in the desired room configuration and let them relax for 24-48 hours.
- Ensure roll colors match and make any necessary cuts.
- Roll up one end of the rolls and apply double-sided tape to the floor along the perimeter of each roll.
- Place the rubber rolls back into position on top of the double-sided tape.
B: Glue Installation
- Clean the subfloor of all dust, dirt, and debris and ensure it is free of moisture.
- Loose lay the rolls in the desired room configuration and let them relax for 24-48 hours.
- Ensure roll colors match and make any necessary cuts.
- Roll up one end of the rolls and spread a light layer of polyurethane adhesive that is 10’ long (maximum) and unroll the flooring into the adhesive 10’ at a time.
- Repeat this step for every 10’ of roll length until the entire roll has been unrolled into its desired position.
- Use a 100-pound roller on the floor to guarantee good adherence to the subfloor or walk on the flooring in small choppy steps.
